INT: Introduction to Internet Technologies

Short Description

This course aims to give students a basic understanding of the Web's architecture, the basic standards and protocols of the internet, and the Web programming. The topics covered by this course include HTML and XML, the Query languages for XML, the transformation between different XML-based formats, XML programming, creating dynamic Web applications through both client-side and the server-side programming, and basic techniques of search engines services. 

Prerequisites

Knowledge of Java or C++ programming.

Course Schedule

The course consists of 15 two-hour lectures . We will meet in 0.2.12 for the lectures.
